Lift valve

A lift valve is a special type of valve; in other words, a mechanical device used in fluid technology to control and regulate the flow of liquids or gases in pipe systems. These valves are characterized by the linear movement of the throttle body (referred to as a “cone” in lift valves) and by the fact that this movement always takes place perpendicular to the plane of the seat ring.

Lift valves are widely used in various industries and applications, including water and wastewater treatment, petrochemicals, and the process industry. Especially for small nominal diameters (up to DN 100), lift valves are almost always the first choice in terms of control quality, adaptability to specified process conditions (noise emission, avoidance of cavitation and erosion), and cost.
